Chancellor's Literary and Visual Arts Awards

The Chancellor's Prizes for Best Literary and Visual Arts, including graphic arts and photography, have been established to promote the growth of an active creative community in and around Penn State Greater Allegheny. Sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor, awardees are selected from among a group of finalists chosen by the student editorial board of ABSENCE. Selected by the Chancellor to represent the best from among the literary, graphic, and photographic art forms produced by the campus by either full- or part-time students during the academic year. The prize-winning pieces are featured in the current volume of ABSENCE.
